How is Sedona over the Christmas week?

I have not been on Christmas week, but I have been the week before and the week after. It was cold, damp and snowy both times. You are at elevation approximately 4500 feet. Though there is never a hard freeze in Sedona, temperatures can be in the 30s.

The red mountains are lovely with snow, and the snow doesn't linger, but I do like the weather in April, May and early autumn much better.

The past two winters in the Phoenix area have seen temps in the 20's so I think Sedona was at least that cold, too. We came home from NYE 2010 in San Diego to find our sprinkler system and pool vacuum breakers spewing water all over the place so it was definitely in the 20's that weekend.
