  • Las Vegas Steakhouse Recomendations On The Strip

We are going to Las Vegas next month for our 48th wedding anniversary. We were invited by Caesar's Palace for the Celine Dion Show and accommodations all fully comped. We will be staying a Caesar's for 5 nights.

We haven't been to Las Vegas for a couple years as we quit going a few years ago except for special invitations like this. My wife is a huge fan of Celine Dion.

We are looking for a good steakhouse on the strip within walking distance of Caesar's for our anniversary dinner. I would prefer that it be at one of the Caesar's Entertainment ( AKA Harrah's ) properties as it will be comped. However this is not an absolute requirement if there is some place that is exceptional. The Caesar's Entertainment properties on the strip are: Caesar's Palace, Harrah's, Imperial Palace, Flamingo, Bill's, Bally's, The Paris, and Planet Hollywood.

Any recommendations are welcome within the above parameters. Right now, I am considering the Strip at Planet Hollywood, Harrah's Steakhouse, and Bally's. I am also considering P.J. Clark's at the Forum Shops. All of these were rated in the top 10.

Feel free to comment on the above choices or add some others.

    Thank you very much.

Surely somebody on this web site has eaten a steak in Las Vegas.

Yeah, but maybe they can't think of a boring enough place for you. So what do you do in Vegas-diet or gamble ?

Another one of your moronic posts. It is no wonder that this site is losing traffic with people like you on it.

I didn't reply because my reply probably won't meet your parameters. If you are walking, and not wheeling, everything will be far.

The best steak I had recently was at Carnevino, Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich's place at Palazzo. It was very good. BUT, not a Caesar's property. Also had loud music.

I wouldn't go to The Palm in Caesar's. In fact, I will never go again. Food is good, but we had very bad service twice.

I loved, loved Bradley Ogden, but I think it just closed (if not, it is in Caesar's near the theater).

"They say" that Gordon Ramsay steak is very good, and it is in Paris (but that is a good walk if you are walking). I have never eaten there.

Anywhere else I'd recommend would be miles too far, sorry.

Hope this is of some help.

                Thanks Fern,

We will have our car but do not wish to drive anywhere. The Gordon Ramsay steakhouse at the Paris is definitely an option and it is close. We have made the walk many times. Actually I will be renting a mobility scooter from Caesar's while we are staying there. I need it just to get around Caesar's Palace. Bradley Ogden closes on August 5th. I did get a recommendation for the Range Steakhouse at Harrah's.

I suppose I should feel sorry for you being such a bitter envious person but I am not. It is your cross to bear, not mine.

John - THE best steak I've ever enjoyed was at the Stripsteak in Mandalay Bay. It was very pricey - over $50 per person back in 2007 - but worth every penny.

Unfortunately all the sides were VERY expensive and failed to impress. But the steak was absolutely perfect. If you can get there and are OK with the price (I'm sure it's much more now) I can still remember it as the best I ever had. And we didn't even go for the Kobe beef - just the one below it on the menu. If you do go enjoy.

Not bitter, not envious just don't find anything to like about you and lots to dislike.

I remember back OY how you go on and on to get the last word, just like a spoiled little girl.
