We are going to the Carriage House at the end of the month. I can pack a few things like cereal and english muffins with a jar of jam. Is there anywhere to just get a quart of milk without having to take a trip to the grocery store?

Grocery in Las Vegas
It is possible that there might be some vending machines in either the Carriage House.. or possibly the new Marriott Chateau.. I dare say we never looked for that sort of thing as we took the "free shuttle" to the Von's Grocery Store that the resort runs 2 X a week. The concierge Bobbi Beaver is a character herself.. and loans you a copy of the "savings club card" to use for your purchases.. one of the Days I think was the day after arrival. So I would go on this... and bring with me a few 8 oz. wax cartons for the first Morn. It is not easy to find anything like a convenience store ON the Strip... and those a block or two OFF the strip are like a half mile away and are either a ma pa store or a part of a Gas Station. One we found was actually part of a trailer park.. Ask at the desk.. is the best bet. You will love the Carriage House.. it is so near to the Desert Passage... the Alladin (which I hear now has Planet Hollywood as its Owner.. hope they dont change the great "rain scenario" --a storm in the desert... it is real cool, be sure to go see it.
Any desire to hear about my pics for where to have more fun gambling w/o losing a lot.. send me an email... bh2441@msn.com.. Hint,, the venue is the N.Y, N.Y casino.Beverly M. Hook

The Address of 7 11
I didn't know the 7 11 was there (although I had seen another one on The Strip recently, across from the Stardust). The address of the one South of Harmon on the East side of the street is: 3743 Las Vegas Blvd South. Its probably about across from the CVS Drug Store as well.
When I go down to The Strip, I don't drive it. I head for where I'm going by back streets as much as possible, and never, ever cross The Strip. That's why I didn't know about it.
