Thanks, everyone! I've been checking out the various sites/links...and I googled "slide rock park"...and it looks awesome!!! Just what my kids would love...some "old fashioned" fun in "mother nature created" surroundings! My daughter (age 11) was complaining of "going to look at a bunch of rocks" (Sedona)---but when I showed her the various websites, photos from Sedona area, etc....she finally began to show some enthusiasm for the trip.

December can be crisp, sunny usually, but has cold nights. You will love the opps for photos! Be sure you have an extra large capacity on your camera's memory! As for golf...Sedona Golf Resort here will be fun for your husband...as is the Oak Creek Course here ... Any time you want help, just swing by this forum!
