I was emailed by Sandra Cooper with the Inverness management company. She informed me that she is running the $300 for 2006 MF for the rest of this week.

Just thought I would let people know.

fyi, I did ask about the MF increase again late today, Sandra said they decided at the recent meeting that 07 MFs were going up to $391. so I guess the discount for 06 is kind of a wash with the 07 increase, but could be worse...

If you have II through the Marriott, do you have to get a separate II subscription again? I have read something like that before. Just curious.

Has anyone checked out the trading power on a 1 BR summer week? Can it pull a nice carribean resort in the winter? Can someone check to see if this will pull one of the Morritts Grand winter weeks that was recently spacebanked. I can see this with my good traders but not with my weaker weeks. If it has enough trading power I will go for it and get rid of some of my weaker units with higher maintenance fees. Otherwise I really don't need another week unless it trades better than what I would get rid of.

I am sooooo on the fence about this. I called my reps at Interval and a guy at RCI to try to assess how good the trade power will be, and got three different answers. RCI said they have tons of weeks available there, and that it's a Standard resort, while one rep at II said the summer weeks get a Bonus Week, and yet the other one said "our members do not rate this resort highly". I also heard back from Sandra, and she said the mf will go up to $391 next year. I guess it's too much to ask if anyone has a week from this resort in their account to play with? What to do....Carol

I caved

I had a moment of weakness to the addiction and fell off the wagon I picked up a week or two. We'll see how they do. I figure you can't lose even if I decide to sell it down the road!

The good news is, if this doesnt work out, we'll all be in the same boat and able to console each other! Isnt it a good thing that it seems most families have only one timeshare addict. I hate to think of the consequences if we were both addicted!
