  • Thanks Mike,
    Looks like a nice choice.
Another question. Since the maintenance fees are the same, why would anyone pick a blue or white week rather than a red week?

    • I think it has to do with the number of 1BR and 2BR units available in this deal.

      • 2007 Trade Power pretty good!

Just to let everyone know, my summer 1BR week, deposited about 8.5 months out from the check-in allowed me to snag a 3BR 2007 New Years week at Cypress Point Phase I in Orlando through RCI. I can live with that.

So based on that, why not get a week!

          NICE!
I really liked the units at Cypress Pointe ( that 3rd bedroom is really really small though) and the location cannot be beat!

            Is it a lockout unit?

Yes. The 2 Masters < one is the studio lock out side> are GORGEOUS!

The 2nd BDRM in the "A" side is maybe 10x10 with a trundle/day bed. Fine for kids.

I think the living room sofa opens into a sleeper as well.

HUGE jacuzzis, plasma TVs. Nice nice units.

              • I bought a week 27 1BR today. I have been considering it for awhile, but finally bit the bullet. It probably won't be deeded until March. Is it better to deposit with II or RCI for this year, given the short time frame? My longer term plan is to trade in RCI with it, since I already have 2 excellent traders in II, and also because II is more restrictive about moving up in unit size and I almost always need a 2BR. Forgive the run-on sentence, but I am excited.

                • I must sound like a broken record, but why not try Hawaii Timeshare Exchange. There is no penalty for depositing at the time you will be able to deposit. You can upgrade to a 2 bdr for a fee if you need to do that.

                  • I chose a 2-Bedroom Blue week because if I want to visit there I don't want to go in the summertime. Week 4 is perfect for us.

I did get trades (through RCI) for two 1-bedroom units at Los Abrigados in Sedona for Christmas 2007 -- one with the week deposited for 2006 and one with the bonus week they gave me when I deposited the 2007 week.

Philsfan, I looked at Hawaii Timeshare Exchange online. I could not get a complete look at the exchange possibilities since I am not a member, but it looks like they have a lot more available as rentals than exchanges. Is that your impression? Their fees are quite reasonable. Do they take any week from any resort?? Do they assign trade power or is every week deposited equivalent (except for unit size)?

You can sign in a guest. The username is: 9999 and the password is: htse (lowercase). They have pretty decent availability.

They will accept your week as long as it is a red week and it will give you anything you see in their inventory. Size does matter as you will need to pay an upgrade fee for size.

dj covered most of what you asked, they do not assign trade power, you are only limited to the size that you deposit unless you want to pay the upgrade fee. I never looked at their rentals much since I only plan to exchange. They usually have about 200 to 300 Hawaii exchange weeks available, the same for Mainland US and about 100 International to pick from. Any prime season week can be deposited from any resort.

                            FREE WEEKS

                            INVERNESS II @ WALDON
                            IN MONTGOMERY TEXAS
                            1 HOUR NORTH OF HOUSTON

We are giving weeks away for only the cost of the maintenance fee.

The weeks are great for exchanging with RCI and II. They pull some GREAT trades!!!

I have a special that if you pick up two weeks (one bedroom), I am discounting the maintenance fee for 2007 $75 which will make it $316 instead of $391. And if you pick up 3 weeks to have deeded over to you, I am taking $100 off of 2007 fees to make it $291 instead of $391.

Another deal for every red week in a one bedroom that is picked up, you can have a blue week deeded over to you with all fees waived until 2008 but still have 2007 usage. I know that sounds hard to believe but I am excited about it!!!!!!!

I have red white and blue weeks available for the one bedrooms.

Also, something else that I am doing is if you can refer three people that pick up weeks, for every three I will put a week into your RCI account that will be good for two years to exchange anywhere that you want.

We would love to have you as part of the Inverness family.

                              • I really HATE every time someone bumps this thread!!! And just to punish you for doing so, I will tell you that I used a week for a flexchange to a Four Seasons Aviara studio this weekend. I am very excited!
However, the temptation to get another week is high. So I love it when this isnt around to remind me!
