Heading to Scottsdale tomorrow and bringing my clubs. Anyone have a link for some cheap golf?

Someone posted one a while ago, but I can't remember where it is.

    Thanks,

    Jim,

Have a wonderful time. I hope that you will find some time to drop us a note, and let us know how much fun you are having............

Here is a link for the Golf course.........

Check the prices at the "Sanctuary." I believe the prices were reasonable, and it is a decent course.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

      Scottsdale/Phoenix golf

      Boca:

Angela is correct--Sanctuary is a nice track and reasonable at this time of year . . . I get weekly emails from them and I think they have a current $30 price, though it may be a special for email members.

The Desert Course at the TPC is very good (and very tight--hit 'em straight!) and probably around $30-40.

If you can get ahold of a Thursday AZ Republic newspaper, there are a number of coupons with some pretty great deals. You also can try the AZ Republic's website, www.azcentral.com, and find the golf tee times page and find some bargains.

I haven't paid more than $20 for a round of golf all summer and there are a number of courses that include a free breakfast or lunch (Sanctuary might be one of those).

If you would like a playing partner, or to play with a couple of semi-old geezers who can still shoot in the 70's if the gods are with them and they can sink a putt longer than 3 feet, give me a call, and we can talk golf and timeshare in no particular order.

Birdies are better, but par is good.

        DDI,

Thanks for the tips. I am a beginner since I just took up the game this summer. My parents are coming with me and my dad golfs, too. If you don't mind golfing with a couple of duffers, we'll give you a call.

        Angela,

        As always, thanks.
