We are staying at the HGVClub on the Las Vegas Strip, 2650 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas, NV , 89109 , USA the Week of November 5, 2006. My daughter and her son want to come out for Wednesday - Sunday of our stay. Are there any hotels close to this resort that they could look for a room?

Closest, in easy walking distance is the Sahara. Its right across the street, which makes it "one Las Vegas block." "One Las Vegas block" equals about a half a mile, btw.
Cheaper would be the Stratosphere, I'd think. It is perhaps "three Las Vegas blocks" or a bit less, but not an area that you'd want to walk. They would need a car, its not contiguous to the rest of the Strip.
Going the other way is Circus Circus, maybe "two Las Vegas blocks," but believe me, you wouldn't want to stay there.

What are you trying to imply Fern? We visited Circus Circus in October last year when staying at the Monte Carlo. I've nearly removed all the goo from the carpets off my shoes alreadyOriginally posted by Fern View Post

If you are HGVC Members, you might be lucky enough to capture an "Open Season" reservation right at the resort. These are only available 30 days in advance, so you would want to have a hotel reservation that could be cancelled.
