  • Round and round you go

    Be prepared! ADOT has decided!

    Roundabouts versus traffic circles vs.rotaries.

The new road design will have something like 4 roundabouts in an estimated 2 to 3 mile stretch of of roadway thru the gateway of Sedona in the Village of Oak Creek....count them....4...

Once past Bell Rock, after you have navigated the 4 in the Village of Oak Creek, there will be more roundabouts....how do you think you would feel about driving thru them?

We have a couple here with plans for more. The ones that are in use have made a huge difference in traffic flow. I thought I would hate it but they are great. It stops the idiots that run signs and lights,or at least makes them slow down. AL

That is encouraging to know that your traffic has not seen an increased incident of accidents....do you have a lot of beautiful views that would distract a driver?

Dizzy. Bad enough with tourist gawking <guilty as charged> and relatively straight roads but all those rotarys?
