Weather (and therefore weeks desirabiltiy) better in Spring or Summer

For those of us who got a week at Inverness at Walden (near Houston), what's the weather like during the early summer. I seem to remember it's hot. Is it like Arizona and Vegas where it's super hot so it's better to go in the spring? Or is summer the true prime time? Maybe something I should have considered earlier.

My Arizona week does much better for spring than for summer.

Of course that was trial and error to find out over 5 years.

Have no clue as to Inverness but Glitter seemed happy with her summer week.

Early summer (June) in Houston is better than late summer. Spring is very nice as early as March. In our good years, we can keep our air conditioning off until mid to late May. In our hot years, the ac may come on at the beginning of May.

The high temperatures in June will be in the low 90's with low to mid 70's at night. In late summer, high temperatures will be mid to high 90's (or higher) with low night temperatures in low to mid 80's.

In Houston, we have relatively high humidity (80%) which is good for our skin tone but can take some getting use to. But, everything, I mean everything, is air conditioned down here. It is not unusual for people to take sweaters to wear in restaurants when going out to dinner. The hottest part of your stay will be going from your car to the place you are going to visit. Our baseball stadium (Astros) and football stadium (Texans) are ac'd for our summer games.

Memorial weekend is a big weekend holiday in the Houston and other Texas areas. This is because most of our public schools have just completed their school year and the kids are out for the summer. This weekend is a good weekend because the weather is much better than Fourth of July here. Fourth of July is also a big weekend down here.
