  • Shows for Children in Las Vegas

What shows are there for Children in Las Vegas and is there any place to get discounted tickets. We are leaving today and our daughter and grandson are meeting us there, he is almost 6.

Don't think either of these are discounted, but I'd recommend Tournament of Champions at Excalibur and Lance Burton at Monte Carlo. The Excalibur show is one of those where you eat with your hands and there is a jousting tournament with horses. At one time or another I've taken my kids and grands, and they all loved it. Lance Burton is a magician, and besides being very good, he loves children.

Mac King has an afternoon show and is good as well, and much more reasonably priced. There are also the "free" shows such as the animated statues at Caesar's Palace, the inside "rain" at Aladdin's mall, and of course the water show outside Bellagio. When you view the water show at Bellagio, turn around afterwards and check out the lighting on the corner of Ballys. The columns change very gradually from one color to another, and its really beautiful.

Glad to hear that. We're taking our granddaughter Kaitlin, who is also six, the day after Thanksgiving...

              Children's Activities in Vegas

I know this is a bit late for the original poster, but in case others are interested.
For the last couple of years my husband has had conferences to attend in Las Vegas and we tagged along. My pre-school aged son had fun at The Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at the Mirage. He also enjoyed the Venetian which has free minstrel shows in the mall. Last year one of the singers even gave him a gold chocolate coin which he treasured.
Thanks to my sister, we own a leg lamp.

My 2 fav recomendations are the Rick Thomas magic show in the afternoon. It has tigers and is really good!! (Guess he''s still there) Don't forget Ron Lucas and Scorch!! He was on the Letterman show not long ago. A fun ventriloquist!! shaggy
