Has anyone gone to any Spring Baseball Games while Timesharing in Phoenix and Tucson? If so, where do you get tickets and how far in advance to you need to get them?

Cactus League
This is probably the best overall site with game schedules, ballpark layouts and ticket information.
http://www.cactus-league.com/index.html
Just click on any of the teams and you will see "ticket information" listed in the upper right hand corner of the screen, just to the right of the ballpark photo--just click on it. Many of the teams use Ticketmaster, and many tickets can be purchased directly from the specific ballpark. It appears that most tickets are not available until January or February, although you could contact each ballpark that you are interested in to find out the exact date of beginning ticket sales. You might also try the websites of each team you are interested in, where advanced tickets might be available.
I have been to games at many of the stadiums. They are generally very pleasant and intimate compared to big league ballparks, with an average capacity of around 10,000. You can't find a bad seat and are close enough to the field to actually recognize players (if you know them).
I think the prettiest stadiums are Phoenix Municiple, home of the Oakland A's, and Tempe Diablo Stadium, where the LA/Anaheim/Orange County/Catalina Island Angels (ha-ha) play. Many people come from places like Seattle (Mariners, Peoria Stadium), San Francisco (Giants, Scottsdale Stadium), and Chicago (Cubs, Hohokom Park, Mesa) and stay for the whole month of March.
The weather in March is usually pretty fantastic day after day, so bring your sunscreen and baseball cap and enjoy!

Oh and my sister (who's gone to spring training every year since the 70's) got our tickets. All we had to do was show up, which we did!
