  • Photos from Flagstaff, Sedona trip

    OK guys,

Here are some photos from our trip to Flagstaff and Sedona. I have made 3 folder/albums. They are Flagstaff, Sedona, and Grand Canyon.

On our trip we stayed at Fairfield Flagstaff from 12/22/06 to 12/26/06. We went to visit the Grand Canyon on Christmas Day. We then drove down Hwy 89A from Flagstaff to Sedona through the Oak Creek Canyon. In Sedona, we stayed at Fairfield Sedona.

Hope you can access the link:

Please post if you cannot access the albums. I have set them for public view.

Great pictures Mike. It must have been nice to see snow. I haven't seen any in a while.

Mike, I just finished looking at your first album so the link works. What a lovely sunrise in Flagstaff behind the trees. I love big trees!

On to the Grand Canyon now.

            Boca,

I see so little snow living in Houston. Really the only time I can see it is when I travel out of state in winter, Colorado or Illinois usually. The snow in Sedona was really nice. Big soft flakes. It lasted for 3 or 4 hours.

Frank if you have never been to the area; it is a MUST.

I'll send you some of my snow in February.

                A quick story:

We have stayed in timeshares since before my son was born. On the spur of the moment I decided to take him to a friend's house in February one year when he was oh maybe 8 or 9. Just the 2 of us. We were flying into Orlando.

Marshmallow that I am. How could I take a child thru Orlando and NOT do a themepark??? So I got a priceline at a very nice 4* hotel for 2 nights for $42/nite.

We checked into our room. The first words out of his mouth were "Where's the rest of our apartment?" He had never stayed in a hotel room before!

                Welcome to our addiction.

I hope you enjoy it for many, many years to come with your family.

I have seen them all. Thank you so much for sharing. You have some very beautiful pictures but they only show very small here but you have the originals. You also had a very nice view from unit 2526.

Mike....great pics, thanks. They made me want to go back to the area again, real soon. I really enjoyed my trip to Arizona. It was just so different then any place that I have ever been. Really beautiful.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

                          Mike,
Great pics, thanks. I knew that FF Flagstaff was nice as we have been there and loved it, but, FF Sedona looks great also. Guess I will need to put that on my all too long, "short list" which should only take me another 30 years or so to finish up.
Glad that you had a good trip, never thought of going there in winter but looked nice.

Thanks, Mike, for the great pictures. We plan to spend Christmas 2007 in Sedona. I just confirmed a third unit there so hope to have a mini-family reunion - we also want to go to Grand Canyon while there.

My little girl (who just turned 6) has also never stayed in a regular hotel room - other than a couple of nights when she was an infant. My goal is to get her to adulthood without vacationing anywhere other than a timeshare. My family of three thinks we're roughing it if we have to stay in a 2BR unit rather than a 3BR.
