Yes, Spence I Called HGVC on the Strip

Spoke with a person at the front desk

She said that local calls are $1.00
Forgot to ask about 800 numbers

She did not know if the units have ceiling fans

She did not know about the windows

I asked if they were lockout
Her reply was that the units have a door
but I am still not sure if they have
the extras making that side a true stuido

Photos on website do not show me

Maybe you can check the resort out this week
if you go to Las Vegas and use Big Franks unit!

            HGVC Driveway

Does the HGVC on the Strip (6300)
have a second driveway off of Sahara
so that you do not have to get in/out
of parking lot using The Strip Driveway

We were there in November and I did not see a drive off of any road except Las Vegas Blvd. For self parking you turn right on the first road after you enter their property from LV Blvd. Parking is to the north and west of the resort buildings. Valet parking is $7.00 per day, if you choose that option.

No ceiling fans. Windows do not open. Washer/Dryer Stack unit is located in a cabinet that looks like a pantry cabinet, next to the fridge in the kitchen. The 2 bedroom was not configured as what we would consider a lock off and the second bedroom is not a studio. In a 3 bedroom the 3rd bedroom is a studio with a microwave, small beverage fridge and sink area.

We were told the 3 bedroom is close to 1500 square foot. It seemed to me that their whole 3 bedroom unit would fit into the two bedroom lock off portion of the Marriott Grand Chateau 3 bedroom unit.

HGVC does not use the term lock off because they are a point system not a weeks system. (This was directly from their staff.) You are using your points to gain a 1, 2, or 3 bedroom unit.

Didn' t use the phone, cheaper to use our cell phones. Internet is free. The parking in the back is free but limited. Also attempting to enter rear with luggage....you will be met with steep steps, (ground floor handicap entrance broken for the past few weeks - also per the staff). We were told that valet parking was $6.00 a day, didn' t use it so can' t be sure.

Marketplace downstairs is nice. They have a little pizzeria, a small Starbucks set up, and a deli area that makes fresh sandwiches, along with lots of goodies that you could purchase and cook in your room.

Tower 2 is newer and has a LCD tv in the livingroom but does not have jetted tubs. (The furniture fabric is atrocious, way too many patterns and colors going on, must have gotten the stuff on clearance.) Absolutely love the wood and the granite, (very classy), but the couch pattern, chair pattern, curtains, and carpet all seemed to clash.

Tower 1 has jetted tubs, no LCD tvs, and we were told the fabrics and colors were more muted or normal, but didn' t get to see any of the units.

Upon check in we were told the swimming pool was closed for the season, however the every time we arrived back at the resort we saw people swimming in it and enjoying the spa, as well as a lifeguard out there.

There was an entrance and an exit both leading out onto Las Vegas Blvd. We had no trouble exiting or entering, no matter what time of day or night.

                  Tower 1

It's probably been 4-5 years since we were there, but we were in Tower 1 - 2BR and really enjoyed it. The studio portion had a mini kitchen - though I thought the room was a little cramped - we only used it for luggage and to watch TV when we didn't want to disturb each other. The fabric and drapes in that unit were very nice in my opinion. More Taupe, beigy colors - though I guess it could have changed by now. I'd go back there any time.
