Inexpensive and casual dining...new in Sedona

They recently opened a JB's restaurant, near the Basha's grocery store.

I don't know if it is a national chain, but it can best be described as a cross between Perkins and Denny's or a diner. The portions are large, and I have heard folks are enjoying the meals they get there. It also has a soup and salad bar.

On Tuesday they offer senior citizen discounts of 20%...and have a Senior menu as well as extensive breakfast, lunch dinner choices that won't break your bank.

For those staying at the Villas of Sedona, Sedona Springs or Fairfield/Wyndham, you are closest to the new place.

There is also a new Chinese restaurant, Szechuan, near the New Frontiers market. On hwy 89A.

Lots of folks do like the Javalina Cantina, it is in the Hillside Marketplace.

jericap, additionally, Basha's grocers offers 4 PM dinner specials that are generous helpings which save you the trouble of preparing a meal. The prices are very reasonable, and the food can be quite good...many locals use it as a "cheap" date meal. The helpings are large enough to split or have leftovers for lunch. The dinners are served hot, and sold at the deli counter.
