We were in Sedona last week, I wished I had read this post. I would have been happy to give them a try.
Many thanks to katiemack for all the helpful Arizona info that she posts. I am sure there are many of us that have benefited from it.

I just called and placed our order for tomorrow..well pick up will be Monday. I spoke with Barbara, she is very nice and accomodating.
She told me they have "partnered up" with the Wyndham/Fairfields and Sedona Pines and one other timeshare..can't remember which.
Anyway, they have ready made meals that you can purchase individually. A full portion will feed 4-6 people and they run 23.00 plus tax for that size...half sizes are available but I do not know the price.

I ordered 6 meals...they have breakfasty type meals too..like egg/sausage casserole. I just have to come in and pick them up....you do not have to do the prep work unless you want to. They also offer sides and a small selection of desserts.
I told her that this service and timesharing is a match made in heaven. I am so relieved to know that I just have to shop for snacks and drinks. Yippee!

I will post a review when we return to let you know how it turned out.

Thanks soooo much katiemack for this information. She asked how I knew about the business and I told her about our forum and our own katiemack.

Similar service is a huge time-saver and bargain!

This is miles away from Sedona, in Calgary AB Canada actually, but this service looks very much like this: Make or Take Meals - Meal Assembly based in Calgary

I use this service frequently. I get 5 meals for four (or in our case, 10 meals for two) for $109 (and that's in Canadian dollars). If I don't feel like taking the time to assemble the meals myself, I can pay an additional $10 and have them all ready for me to pickup. The meals are packaged, labeled and ready to go into the freezer. When I'm ready to use them, the instructions are right on the packets. It doesn't get any easier! The only thing I have to remember to do is move the item from the freezer to the fridge so that it is thawed when I need to use it.

That's what I was thinking, too.

I've never been big on Dream Dinners and the other "prepare at our place, cook at your place" services, because they don't have many vegetarian options. It could be ideal for many timeshare users, though.

I'm back from Sedona and wanted to report on our dinners from
            "Taste and See"

We ordered a total of 6. 5 dinners and 1 breakfast type.

It was supposed to be 23.00 a meal plus tax but DH says he paid about 130.00- so that doesn't compute-it ended up less.

The meals were ready made and frozen. It was so stress free to just take something out and put it in the fridge before we left for the day.

Most had side dishes included. The funny thing was the choices I thought might not taste very good...were actually my favorites. I will say-I have had my fill of corn-LOL. Don't get me wrong-I like corn-but it was just put in places it doesn't belong...IMO.

            We ordered

BBQ pork ribs.....side of baked beans.

Beef Kabobs (beef and squash, onion, zucchini) ...side of "corn medly"

Chilie Relleano....side of pinto beans with green chilie and corn.

            Breakfast Burritos...with egg,cheese,black beans, corn.

Hungarian Goulash.....side of noodles and parmesean cheese...Yum.

Teriyaki Ahi...side of rice pilaf.....double Yum.

We fed 6 people. 2 were children. Each meal serves 4-6...if you have a big eater-then you might want to limit the meal to 4. We added salads and fruit or rice and beans and it was usually enough. We even served company one night.

I give it a thumbs up. I think I may try this other places. It really took the stress out of meal time. We did eat out a couple times and combined the fish with beef one night with left overs.

Any questions...I'll be happy to answer them.
