  • Sedona Restaurants recommended by TS4ms members

In an effort to add value to the SW forum, I think it might be great to open a thread that lists favorite restaurants of yours in the Sedona Area.

I will start it off with two of our top picks:

Shugrue's Hillside: for lunch or dinner, they have fabulous service, great views, and if you love a special dinner out, and if you love Ahi, you will enjoy their version of that! Look in the local paper. the Sedona Red Rock News, for possible special coupons offered from time to time. Shugrues Family of Restaurants#

Enchantment Resort: Located in a beautiful spot, with wonderful outdoor patio dining, but definitely pricey....you will want to go here for that very special occasion, or just for drinks and a snack. Two restaurants, Tii Gavo, a casual bar/grill with outdoor and indoor dining; and the more elegant, Yavapai Restaurant, both indoor/outdoor, serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch. MUST have reservations. We love to go to their Sunday brunch, where they always have music, champagne and fantastic seafood and carving stations. Not to mention desserts to please. click here to visit their website
Life is short, live it with this awareness.

    We(DH, DS18 +DD15) all enjoyed Heartline Cafe.
We were not impressed with "Robert's" at 251 AZ 179. It has changed names, but still advertised the famed Peach cobbler, so we gave it a try. They tried, but the end result just didnt cut it.
The Coffee Pot for breakfast was fun.

Robert's is long gone. Now there is a really nice restaurant there, opened this winter, called Ken's Creekside ... I have heard positives about the place, but haven't yet visited.

Yep, thats the one. The reccomendation for Robert's was from Fodor's '06. We were not happy with Ken's. There were nice touches like an amuse-bouche and sorbet, but overall it just didnt work. Maybe we were just unlucky. It didnt help that the restaurant was so cold some of the patrons had blankets around their shoulders.

katiemack: I merged these 3 posts to keep things compact. If I hear a more favorable review of Ken's I will update here.

Coffee Pot for breakfast. Low key and wonderful menu. Famous for their omlette selections over 100.

Sedona is the prettiest place I have seen to date. Be sure to drive on rte
89A and also do Pink Jeep Broken Arrow Tour.

Oh, thank you, thank you! We leave in 18 days for 2 full weeks in Sedona. Can you tell I'm excited? It's only 29° this morning. We do a lot of eating in on our TS trips but I'm definitely going to do the Enchanted Sunday brunch, What a beautiful location (we only walked around last time in Sedona.)

We did get a take out pizza at Picazzo's which we thought was great. Pricey but really tastey.

Although it's actually outside Sedona (as I recall it's in Oakcreek Village), we really liked Cucina Rustica. Great Italian food.

Katiemack: Thanks for that recommendation, yes, they have been well-liked and have loyal patrons. Here is their website: - CUCINA RUSTICA :::: Mediterranean Cuisine -

I forgot to mention Thai Spice(?). It was a small restaurant on the far west edge of town, attached to a rather dodgy looking motel, but the food was very good.
