  • Has anyone stayed at Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch?

We are considering this resort, but I am not sure how hard of an exchange it is. Are there plenty of activities for kids? Is it still under construction? We would like a place that is a base to do San Antonio activities, but also a place to relax and do fun things at the resort itself.

    mshatty is our Texas resident

I hope mshatty sees this question, as he lives in Texas and could probably give you some feedback!

Sorry, but I never heard of the place you mentioned.

Personally, I have not stayed there. BUT, my daughter's lacrosse coach reserves units there every Thanksgiving for his entire family and other relatives. He told me they just love it. He really thinks it's luxuorious and special.

I believe it is on the west side of San Antonio near the Fiesta Texas amusement park.

I would go there in a NY minute (how's that for regional inclusion). During late summer, it can be hot (but not as hot as AZ ). But understand that the entire state of Texas is air conditioned and when you go out to eat, you will probably need a sweater .

For those of you unfamiliar with the term NY minute, think "nanosecond" and divide by 10.

Gee, mshatty, you Texans air condition the whole state? We only cool our buildings! I gotta pay more attention when I drive thru the Panhandle!

Just make sure you hold your nose as you pass through the west side of Amarillo where you can experience country fresh air at its maximum from the feed lots.
