Is following Labor day a 'slow' time in Vegas?

We are headed to Vegas, probably the Wednesday after Labor Day.

Is this considered a 'slow' time in Vegas----I would think so.

I suspect it will be hot----can you advise HOW HOT?

It will be slower during the week, if there are no major conventions in town. As for the temperature, it will be hot. Its still summer...how hot I don't know. Sometimes it is 116º one day, and two days later its only 102º. And everything is air conditioned
