  • So who is traveling to sunny Arizona in the coming 12 months?

Which one of you 4ms members has a timeshare exchange into Arizona in the next 12 months?

Where will you be staying? For how long? Why did you choose that resort?

Well, Ann-Marie is going - she has a post over in the General Discussion forum.
I keep trying to go but haven't managed it yet.

Where would you suggest I stay?

I am now a Happy Starwood owner as well as a Marriott owner plus have other II traders...so there are several nice resorts there.

How is the location of the Marriott? The Westin? The Sheraton?

And I do enjoy a spa!

I also have some DIS Board friends out there that I would be visiting.....

My brother and I are going to Arroyo Roble in December for our annual together vacation.

I love Sedona; my brother has never been.

Arroyo Roble is perfect for us. It's a smaller resort with well kept units. It is convenient to uptown Sedona and restaurants. It's off the main drag and very quite.

How could I forget the Four Seasons......Hmmmmmm.....maybe an ongoing search would grab that one.

For me, just about the best timeshare I've stayed in. We did stay at the Boulders close by, but not a timeshare. The Golden Door Spa was great (except for the seaweed scrub & wrap, but that's on another old thread).

              Let's keep this clean, Beags

I have stayed at the Four Seasons Aviara and just loved it....so I imagine Troon is pretty darn nice, too!

DH ranks the Grand Mayan NV as his all time Fav TS.....

Nothing dirty (for a change). I just got nauseated with the seaweed scrub & wrap. It reminded me of low-tide, truly.

Fortunately, Arizona doesn't have any seagulls.

If you are a Starwood owner, I definitely give a vote for the Westin....if that is at all possible.

Great location and nice pools, spa!

We will be going next week...will give report back!

As for seagulls, who needs em here...we've got Ravens the size of MD80s!

I have reserved a 2-bedroom unit at Arroyo Roble and two 1-bedroom units at Los Abrigados for Christmas 2007--for family and friends. As far as I know, none of us has ever been to Sedona. Can't wait!

Arroyo Roble is one of my favorite resorts. It's not the newest or largest resort in the area by any means, but the location is perfect. You can easily walk anywhere in downtown Sedona, yet you feel very secluded.

We are leaving next Saturday for 2 full weeks in Sedona. This isn't our first Sedona visit but it is the first time we have so much time to explore the area at our leisure. We are staying at the Hyatt the first week (2 bdrm snagged with a studio thanks to a TS4Ms sighting by Angela) and at Sedona Summit the 2nd week. We have reservations for the Sunday Brunch on Mother's Day at the Enchantment Resort. I'm sure we will take a Pink Jeep Tour & go for some of the easier hikes in the canyon as well. Thank you everyone who have posted tour & restaurant recommendations & especially Katiemack for her expertise.

I'll do resort reviews when we get back!
