  • If you plan to go to Page AZ and visit Antelope Canyon (a.k.a Slot Canyon)

Antelope Canyon is one of the true gems of the West. See some photos here

If you plan to visit, send me an email or pm and I will make a recommendation for a tour guide who is very knowledgeable.

Thank you. Is this near Flagstaff? We plan to stay at Flagstaff in the Spring of 2008...

Head up US-89 for 2.5 hours to Page. The highway is real good. That canyon is close to page.

That looks like a beautiful spot to visit, katiemack.

I also saw some beautiful pictures of the "Painted Hills" in Oregon recently which looked almost unreal too. I never had heard of either place before. I hope the TS4Mr here will post her link herself but otherwise you can see some pictures here. There are so many places to see that you could be traveling non-stop.

I've been there before and I loved it. I took some great pics there but nothing like I would be able to do now. Maybe I'll make it back there again sometime. shaggy

Resort2me has it right. The drive is an interesting peek at high desert landscape.

Would there be a trip report coming soon?

Thank you both for that. Are you planning to write up a trip report? I would love to see that. It would definitely give us an idea of places, routes, attractions, drives etc.

Kapish, thanks for asking, but no, there is no trip report coming any time soon...however, as I discover things I do try to post them...so keep an eye on this forum Southwest Region!

I do have to get around to writing some reviews I have been procrastinating about writing.
