We have been to the Camp Verde Casino several times though not for a couple of years. I don't know if they still have it, but they did have an "all you can eat" barbecue special for $3.99 every afternoon. It wasn't bad, especially for the price.

And don't forget the bowling alley! You don't have to gamble to enjoy yourself!

LOL, I often think the Arizona Weather service fibs! <g> Yesterday, our son took a photo with his cell phone of his truck's thermometer showing how hot it was--120! The "official temp" which for yesterday was around 115, is taken 3 feet from the grass in the shade. I still haven't figured out how to levitate 3 feet off the ground, I can't find all that much shade to walk in and grass is at a premium too. Seems like most of us are ON the cement, walking in the sun. HUMMM, wonder how hot it really is!

          Wow....hot hot hot. No thanks.

No wonder so many 'Zonies' invade So. Cal over the summer months.

You got that right 4ARed, they will do anything to escape....even 15 degrees is cooler to them.....today was interesting, it was around 101 on the road, on Interstate 17 near Sedona, and driving north, a storm appeared and it rained and the clouds hung low over Flagstaff....temperature was 68 by the time we landed in Flagstaff. Love those mountain showers!

LOL, you got that right! We traveled to San Diego each summer for many years. Now we head a little further west to Hawaii. However, Arizona is being invaded by "Fornies" due to our lower housing prices! <g> Many many of our neighbors are from California. You might want to put up a sign reading, "Last one leaving California, please turn out the lights". (Respectively written, of course! :O)

Unfortunately there are a lot more people moving to California than are leaving.

Really? Are most of them coming from "cold" states? I'm sure the entire sunbelt states are growing in leaps and bounds!
