On the first weekend of October for more than three decades at Tempe Beach Park, Oktoberfest takes on western oompah flair with entertainment, drink, and food, including the Johnsonville Bratwurst. Kinderfest includes free arts and crafts for youngsters. Call (480) 491-FEST for more information.

In mid-October, downtown Phoenix hosts an authentic Bavarian Oktoberfest, produced by the Arizona Center for Germanic Cultures, with live Bavarian music, dancing, beer maidens and traditional Bavarian food. Call (480) 235-7134 for more information.
Oct 20: The 2007 Arizona Accordion Festival schedule is:
12:00pm-6:00pm - Open playing
6:00pm-10:00pm - Two great jazz groups for dancing and listening
The festival is free to players and spectators, and will feature a large wood dance floor and food and beverage on site.
