Do you have any specific Sedona timeshares in mind? What are your priorities: one bedroom/two bedroom, location, amentities? With a wee bit more information we can probably help you better.
I believe Katiemack is on vacation so, I'll see if I can help you.
Of all the resorts in Sedona the only ones I would NOT stay in are:
Sedona Pines...way too far away from everything
Poco Diablo...small, only one bedroom units and down in a valley. They are near Oak Creek, but the units are TINY
I have stayed:
The Ridge at Sedona Golf...lovely, but in Oak Creek, not Sedona. Units have wonderful kitchen, stacked w/d, huge whirlpool tub, lockout is actually a studio unit with part kitchen. Has fireplace and some of the units have a nice golf course view and view of the red rocks.
Arroyo Roble...stayed many times. It is convenient to uptown and one can walk to restaurants and shopping. The resort is older, but well maintained and only 72 units I believe. I'll be back again in December.
Sedona Springs/Villas of Sedona.. nice units, no w/d in units. Most have fireplace. Convenient to shopping and a shirt drive to uptoen. The units are well decorated and maintained.
Los Abrigados...Difficult to get larger unit. I have stayed in one bedroom. No real kitchen. Undercounter fridge, microwave, wet bar and toaster oven. Smaller units, but convenient to shopping ( shopoing center, restaurnts on property). Lovely dsetting, excellent spa!
Sedona Summit..sort of out of the way, but lovely units. Cannot walk to anywhere, so a car is necessary to do anything. The units are almost identical to the Ridge. Lockout is actually a studio sleeping 4, w/partial kitchen. Stackable w/d in unit, lovely kitchen and nice grounds.
Fairfield Sedona, Have not stayed, but convenient to shopping and a short drive to uptown. Close to Safeway and the 89A.
If you have any specific questions please post and I will see if I can answer. I lived in AZ years ago, but still love Sedona and have gone back 7 times in the past 8 years.

Looking for at least a two bedroom unit, lock out would be great. Also, a plus would be something that would float 1-52. Our visits would be about half and half - 4 adults, but would need three sleeping areas, and four married adults and two children. We would always have a car or minivan.
From your last reply, I'm guessing you are thinking of buying a unit? If so, you really might want to check resale which offers much better prices than buying from the developer. We own a Sunterra, 2 bedroom condo at The Ridge which is in Oak Creek. We enjoying being away from the Sedona traffic--less hustle and bustle. Since hubby is an Arizona native and I've been here 47 years we don't go there for shopping so it's perfect for us. The only timeshare I wouldn't consider is Sedona Pines. Units are cute but truly resemble a trailor. An adult almost has to turn sideways to go from the bedroom into the living room. The rooms themselves are in a shot gun pattern: living room in front, kitchen directly behind, bedroom directly behind the kitchen. Also, Sedona Pines is kind of outside of the scenic redrock area.
Have you stated at Sunterra Resort Sedona Summit and if so, what did you think?
The Sedona Summit is a 1 bedroom and studio unit together to make 2 bedrooms. The 1 bedroom unit will sleep4; The master has a king and a door to the bath and the living room has a queen size sleep sofa; there is also an entry to the bath. The studio side has a queen bed and a sleep sofa. There is only privacy for 2 on that side. There is a bath with shower, but no tub. The one bedroom side has a fireplace in the living room; the studio does not. The one bedroom side has a full kitchen, the studio side has a partial kitchen.
For 4 adults I think it could work by have a couple in the studio and a couple in the master bedroom. The children on the sleeper in the living room.
I liked Sedona Summit; in fact it is number 2 on my list, but you do need a car to get anywhere.
Number one for me is Arroyo Roble due to its location in uptown. We have "young adults" and they can walk to the uptown area alone.

I will be able to give you a more full reply later this week, but with a quick reply, I would say Sedona Springs would be a good fit, it has a float, the lock out is pretty good, and the loft and apartment offer some comfort for folks.
I agree, Sedona Pines is the least likeable TS in Sedona.
FF is pretty good from what I have heard.
The units at Los Abrigados are supposed to be in some plans for renovations to improve the facility, and they are always expanding their options it seems.
