Sedona in October

My wife, sons and daughter-in-laws and 2yr old grand-daughter sre staying at Sedona Springs early October. How is the weather at this time of the year? I know Sedona Springs has a outdoor pool. Is there a indoor pool at its sister property of Villas @ Sedona? Also for my son and his wife and our wonderful grand-daughter would you think the lockout portion of our 2br timeshare would be best?

The indoor pool is shared between both properties. It is located in the same building as the activity center. Katiemack could probably give you some insight as to the weather about the weather during Oct.
I own at Villas of Sedona but I have visited next door at the Sedona Springs...the lockout is large and has a bed and sofabed, along with a kitchenette. Nice area, not too far from Uptown, however, we used a car and traveled all over.

The weather in October is usually some of the best! The nights are getting cooler, and the air is bright and warm, even hot at times if the timing is right...At present, Sedona is getting an unusual heat spell, for this time of year....it was 98 today...not very usual for this time of the year...so who knows what Oct will bring....keep an eye on the jet stream, if it dips, it will cool things off, if it doesn't....well, likely to be warm.

I think the lockout will be just fine for the couple and baby. Usually the indoor pool is opened sometime in October, and there are 2 outdoor pools, one at the Springs and one at the Villas.

They have a nice little playground and picnic area at the Villas, and your family will be close to conveniences.

It was in the 90s when we visited Sedona in August. I think it will be PERFECT in October. My guess would be warm days and evenings and beautiful (50-s) ate night.
