Not sure if this applies to timeshare rentals or not.

Hello Friends!
Thank you for taking a moment to read this email. I promise you it is not a solicitation, but rather a call for your help.
At some point in the past you chose to stay in a rental home with Foothills Property Management, Inc. during your vacation in Sedona. I greatly appreciate that and can only assume that Sedona touched your heart. How could it not?
Perhaps staying in a vacation home is your chosen method of accommodation in all of your travels. It certainly fills a great need in Sedona. And that is the reason I am writing to you at this time.
The city of Sedona has a rather unfriendly attitude toward short-term vacation rentals and in fact, it is a city ordinance that rentals cannot be less than 30 days. They have been lenient over the years.
Our company has band together with a group of wonderful people who are trying their best to work cooperatively with the city to change this ordinance to one that makes weekly rentals legal.
The next city council work session to discuss this matter will be held on September 26th, 2007. I am hoping you will help us by taking one or two minutes to write a note to Sedona city council members expressing your desire to see these changes made. Please do not use our company name or the address of the home you stayed in. A simple sentence or two explaining that staying in a home is the only way you like to travel, or suits your needs better than the alternate choices available would be perfect. Please include why you come to Sedona.
Here is a link that will allow you to send an email to all council members.
Send a message to all of our City Council members.
If this link does not work for you, please use:
City of Sedona official website
and look for the link under the council photo.
It will send a very powerful message to the council if they receive many, many, emails from people like you who have enjoyed Sedona, spent many dollars here, and will likely make a return visit. With help from you there is a greater chance you will be able to rent a lovely vacation home here again in the future.
Thank you so much for your time and consideration. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact me.
Best regards,
Tawnia Funk, Broker
