Tlaquepacque in Sedona has celebrated this tradition for many years. It is a fun event, with music and events, and the traditional lighting of the luminarias. Many special luminiarias are dedicated to cancer survivors.

A cherished tradition which involves the lighting of six thousand luminarias in Tlaquepaque’s courtyards and walkways. Dozens of entertaining events, including performances by carolers, musicians and dancers will be scheduled along with a living nativity with live animals. Specially designated luminarias honoring cancer survivors, victims can be purchased in advance (see information below). For additional information call (928) 282-4838.
