Some more rain/snow expected to head into AZ this coming weekend

Precipitation expected in areas of AZ this weekend....temperatures are a bit cool in PHX and cold in Flagstaff. Rain likely in areas south of Flagstaff. No precip forecast for Tucson as far as I can see.

Snow is most likely form of precip in Flagstaff, meaning I-17 north of Sedona and I-40 E/W around Flagstaff might have some icy roads.

The arrival of precip might start some time Friday for Sedona and Flagstaff, and possibly Sat or Sun for PHX. Sedona is likely to be rain only, but if temps go down, snow could mix in at higher elevations.

While rain and snow might bum some visitors out, it is still a thrill for us to get any precip as our drought conditions are prevalent.

Arizona has celebrated several areas of snow in the high country in the past 2 days. Phoenix received rain. Williams, AZ was rumored to have 2 feet of snow. Flagstaff had around 18 inches of snow. Payson and Grand Canyon South Rim got a good quantity of snow as well.
