This morning I saw a 1BR for July 4th at Marriott's Grand Chateau so I grabbed it. We will be traveling with our 2 kids (dd2 and dd6...yes, I know Vegas isn't the best place for kids, but we've been there 8+ times and we can drive). Now I am having second thoughts because the pool area is so small and we do enjoy a nice pool area. Should I switch to a place like Tahiti Village (stayed there last year w/out kids, had a nice shady pool area) or Monarch Cancun (slides look fun, large pool)? We love Marriott so it's hard to give up the Marriott luxuries and for some reason, when I think back on Tahiti Village there was something I didn't like but can't put my finger on. Proximity to the strip is not an issue for us as we mostly do non-strip stuff. Help!!! I still have time to cancel Marriott.
