My DH absolutely does not want to rent a car. He would prefer to take a tour to Hoover Dam. Has anyone ever done one, and if so, which one did you take. I went online, and there is a comedy tour. It has a professional comedian as the tour guide. It includes a guided walking tour across the top of the dam, lunch at the historic Boulder Dam Hotel, admission to the Depart. of Interior discovery tour, admission to Boulder dam museum, a movie on the construction, tour of Boulder City and the "dingbat" houses, and a stop at some fudge place. Does anyone have any opinion on this?

Did you check out the Gray Line tours? Our friends took a 1/2 day tour with them and said it was just great. I don't know, but sometimes Gray Line offers discount coupons thru the Entertainment books....Life is short, live it with this awareness. -

I took a bus tour to the Dam about 5 years ago. Sorry I cannot remember who it was through. I think we boarded the bus at the Riviera and if I remember correctly they had a desk set up in the lobby near where we boarded the bus. I thought it was good. It was just the bus ride with the driver providing commentary. It included the basic tour at the Dam but I believe you were able to upgrade the walking tour of the Dam once you arrived. We did not have a car on that trip and found the tour to be a good alternative.Comment
