  • Wyndham Flagstaff vs. Sedona

Anyone have thoughts or recommendations on these two Wyndham properties? We are now looking at possibly visiting that area the 2nd week in April. Flagstaff seems to be a better location for access to the Grand Canyon, but the views of the red rock in Sedona looks much nicer ( just going by the videos on the Wyndham website). We have never been to the area at all.

    Thanks,

    Joe

I have not stayed at the Sedona location but visited it when we were at Wyndham Flagstaff a couple of years ago and I agree the views in Flagstaff are super. We really liked Wyndham Flagstaff. we had a 2BR with hottub on deck and cathedral ceiling in living room with fireplace. Getting to the canyon was a snap and getting down to Sedona was pretty easy also. Like I said Sedona is a beautiful location and the drive up to the canyon is easily doable for day trips. To throw this in the mix, there are also some ruins etc that you can visit not far from Flagstaff like Walnut Canyon etc. I think that the options for restaurants and shops are more down in Sedona.
I know I probably haven't helped muchbut I really liked Flagstaff but have been toying with going back and staying in Sedona this time.

Thanks Ken, what time of year were you in Flagstaff? Early April appears to be a little cool still, Sedona always appears to be almost 10 degrees warmer.

Also if you ever want to rent your Taino Beach let me know, I bought a canal lot right accross the street from Taino Beach a year ago and I'm still fighting with the attorney to get all my paperwork. I want to go "look him in the eye"...
