I know nothing of the resort except that Galisteo runs straight into the historic downtown area. Lot of silver jewelry stores, art galleries and little shops. Many restaurants also are there in the downtown area.
We were there in September and the weather was pretty nice, but we spent lots of time in the car driving to see a lot of the surrounding area.
If you saw the movie "wild hogs" Madrid is on the way to Santa Fe or on the way back to the airport..either way; assuming of course you will be flying into Albuquerque. Madrid is a very small quaint town...one road and shops on both sides.
As far as restaurants in Santa fe. Chocolate Maven has a pretty good breakfast. Odd location though, next door to the auto body shop. You have to drive into what looks like the auto body shop and the restaurant (bakery) is towards the back of the lot.
We also went to another restaurant downtown for breakfast, but I can't remember the name of the place..I'll ask. that was also very good. Just checked...Tia sophia's..downtown.
there's an Italian place for dinner that was just outside the downtown area and I will have to ask my sister what the name is..she lives in Santa Fe. We went there twice, reasonably priced, very good food.
If you like Flamenco dancing, there is a restaurant "el Farol" that has a dinner show on Wednesdays. You need reservations since it doesn't seat a lot of people. I think it was about 60/pp. Buffet style food, not buffet type food though. The food was on the gourmet side, pretty good actually.
If I think of anything else, I'll let you know

Haven't stayed at Las Brisas, but while passing through Santa Fe a couple of years ago we looked at it as well as the other TS's in town in anticipation of possibly trading in. Calling it a resort is really stretching the term There are no resort amenities such as a pool, play area, game room, central lobby and social room, or planned activities.
As their website says its a 29 unit condo 10 of which are TS. It's located on a quiet side street in an old residential area about a mile from the main square. We weren't able to see the inside of a unit but the exterior and grounds were well maintained. It's a typical southwestern structure; an enclosed compound, adobe walls, gravel paths and natural landscaping.
If all you're looking for is a charming, peaceful, comfortable place ideally situated for other activities I'm sure you will be very happy.

It's been six years since we stayed there but we loved it. My photos of our one bedroom unit are in the link below.
It is a small complex with a mix of a limited number of timeshares. Nice walk into downtown if you don't mind walking 15 minutes or so. The kitchen was pretty well stocked for everything we needed and we also had a washer/dryer and laundry soap. Our unit had a wood burning fireplace at they had stacks of free pinon wood outside in the parking lot. We also had a really nice patio and enclosed yard (which we couldn't use since we were there in winter). Don't remember all the details but I did write a review on the other timeshare site if you're a member over there.
