There are houseboats in Lake Powell and Glen Canyon areas.

Timeshare houseboats are no longer allowed from what I hear. But there are rental opps.

I am sorry, but I didn't see your post until today....as I said, I don't think any timesharing is allowed on Lake Powell any more. So, no, nothing with RCI to my knowledge. But rentals are abundant on Lake Powell.

DAE gets timeshare houseboats in both Okla. and Fla. from time to time. You may want to check with them for an exchange.

There are some houseboat exchanges currently on Redweek. One in Oklahoma and one in Deland, Florida. However, be aware that there are other charges associated with houseboat exchanges --a large $$ deposit and a usage/sewage/cleaning fee along with the fact that you be will paying for the gas you use to pilot the boat. You should check with the actual houseboat company or visit their website for exact amounts.

I would like to do this type of exchange,too, but found it too expensive at the moment. Let us know if you do go and how your trip was...

We were to do a houseboat exchange in Sept and had booked before they changed the fee structure. I would not book again due to the high fees. Pay as you go suits me better.
