Usually this time of year there are blue skies and high temps...not so this week, since last Friday clouds more predominant, and rain the past three days...more expected today and maybe tomorrow. Temps in Northern AZ have dipped as low as 42 overnight, and not much higher than 73 during the day.
It isn't "monsoon season," nor is it really acting like it...it is more like winter storms, with lingering cloud cover and steady rains, rather than big white fluffy clouds that just appear, build, dump rain and move on, leaving crisp blue skies.
