We have in Racine County at this time about 3 to 5 inches off wet heavy snow that was not supposed to start untill tonight.

If anyone is interested I just cancelled 2 Christmas BG Points weeks in this afternoon in 2 bedroom 2 bathroom Townhouse Timbers if someone is looking to pick them up
They were units 874-B for Dec 19-26 and 866-B for Dec 20-27.

We as owners get free ski passes with our Oak Timbers UDI's but never have skied. Maybe this old gezzer should try as we have a few CMV Christmas and CMV New Years weeks left that might not rent out.

When are you going to be up there for tubing or sking?

It is thundering, lighting, and snowing in S. WI. When the lighting flashes it is really bright because everything is covered with bright white snow. I don't think I have ever experience this before.

We will arive late day on the 23rd, and out on the 27th. Between those dates, nothing has been firmed up.

Luckily, no one else will be there on that period of Xmas and a long weekend.

We get that every few years in upper Indiana. So cool!

Well, here we are on Christmas Morning...and it is raining. This has been the weirdest trip. Coming from Minneapolis on the 23rd, we run into the start of the blizzard. We started with blowing snow and difficult driving around Tomah. Snow plows were out, cars were going into the ditch (6 that we counted) and my hands were shaking when we finally got to the resort. 5 hours to drive what would normally be a 3-1/2 to 4 hour trip.

It rained yesterday on and off, but that didn’t keep people off the hills. Tubing and skiing were both going on. We had a good view from our table at the bar.

Tonight, we go to the casino for dinner (I take the DW to all the fancy places) and will hopefully be able to go tubing tomorrow after it cools today and the rain turns to snow.

I just hope for good roads on Sunday for the trip back.

You have to quit doing that (fancy dinner), you're making me look bad.

It still pretty much all snow here. My back is getting tired of this (I have the manual snow blower type ) after about 10-12" of this white stuff.

I'm sure hoping this weather pattern doesn't stick around for next weekend. We head to Miami on the 2nd for a two week Panama Canal cruise followed by a week at the Marriott Newport Coast T/S. We are scheduled to arrive a day early for the cruise, so we have a little leeway, however, winter has a way of changing the best laid plans.

We had ice for Christmas Eve services - not just on the roads, but a fresh thin sheet of it everywhere - and then rain and temps in the forties for Christmas Day.

Crossing my fingers for your tubing, Vintner.

why I don't spend the winter at christmas mountain

It is 73 degrees today, the rest of the family went golfing and I baby sat. I wonder how many inches of snow are in our driveway at Christmas Mountain.

We are just doing the buffet. Nice spread for $15. We won't eat that much, but will enjoy it. I can't eat like I used to. In a way, too bad, at the same time, probably a good thing.

Still raining. Has been all day. Snow isn't getting washed away here, but it isn't much for sliding either.

Wonder how much snow I will have in my Minneapolis drive way.

Hey mas, snowblower is in the garage. Do mine before you take it to do yours.
