Are any of you attending the Christmas Mountain HOA Meetings This Saturday? We will be in unit TM 61 this Thursday through Saturday for the HOA meetings after we get back from a funeral for my wifes aunt this Wednesday near Lacrosse, Wi in West Salem. I will leave today and stay at CMV tonight.

If anyone is attending the Christmas Mountain HOA Meetings maybe we could get together for a bite to eat or for coffee and share timesharing ideas, timesharing experiances or go to the casino ?

Our homeowners association is in trouble. bluegreen never mailed out the notice and the proxies. they won't have enough for a quorum to reelect our board members. this is the second year in a row no notices from Bluegreen, not even maintenance fees.

So what does that mean? Is this a problem that for the CMV resort, or just part of the CMV homeowner's assoc.? How many does this affect the CMV owners? How many people are homeowners?

This isn't an area that I know anything about, and maybe the effect is very important, but is it only for a certain group of people who own homes?

Sorry if I am asking questions that are in an area that I don't need to know.

The 3 CMV Timeshare HOA meetings were not affected. The maintenance fees are going up about 5% for each of the 3 Timeshare HOA groups.

There most likely be about a $50 to $79 special assessment for each group except the Timbers HOA for making several units in each CMV HOA a model unit with updates, repairs, ect.

The members will be asked there opinions after touring the units for feedback to see if they like those changes and if those changes should be made to the rest of those units types.

Otherwise it was the typical timeshare meeting dog and pony show.
I put my name in late for the serving on the Cottage and Timbers boards but I did not get the developers proxy votes for some reason , Har, Har, Har..

What was VERY interesting was on the Timbers HOA board there were had always been 5 HOA board seats but at the meeting the developer said there was as per condo documents supposed to be only 3 board members. I found that interesting in that besides myself there were only 4 others who were interested in running for and serving on the Timbers HOA board.

Vitner, in answer to your questions. This only affects the homeowners in the area on Christmas Mt Dr and Christmas Mt Rd. On Saturday, I received a notice of the POA meeting on Friday and the minutes from last year's POA meeting. i have never received those before. Still no notice of the ROA meeting. (that is for residents of the village) I don't know if they got a quorum or not.
