I had not been reading this since the post that she had died; I am so glad to find out she is still alive. My prayer is that she will be able to be rehabbed far past what medical science expects. Kids are resilient and with determination and perseverance. Having been on the ride and having wanted to go on it for months would tell me she is an achiever and willing to go for excitement and difficult challenges! Let's hope and pray!

Obviously, this foreclosure sale was already in the works. Makes me wonder if the workers were less than interested in being as careful with their jobs. While I understand that perhaps there was negligence on one or more workers parts, it is sad to think that a person working at most likely little more than minimum wage would be saddled with a charge of causing a near death of a child. Maybe others will think I am wrong; I know it wasn't fair to the child for the worker to be negligent but that worker, as Pat said, already has to live with this memory and that in itself will probably be the biggest punishment he/she will need.
