I have verified with Sheri that the unit info as given on eBay is a UDI.
Received my estoppel, e-signed the contract and sent the Paypal payment last night. It is already listed on the resort closing website. Seems VERY efficient.

Sounds like they are more efficient than BG's own closing company.

            I'm sure it will be.

I just called this morning and made my 45 day reservation for the weekend after Thanksgiving for a nice little 3 day visit, and a white week in early January that I deposited to II and exchanged for a 2 bedroom Marriott Sabal Palms early June.

I thought you already owned an UDI? No?

no, I am timeshare free right now, but need something! I own a home at Christmas Mountain (for 25 years), spend the summers there.

                      Ahhhhhh, that explains it.
Well this certainly seems to be a versatile ownership.

                        Yes, yes we are...

You (more than most) need to keep looking for that Timbers unit for the golf.

BTW, the previous owner of mine just mailed me the "Special Modification of Purchase Agreement" that conveyed the multi-weeks, golf and skiing - interesting document. It's actually revocable by the unit owner to take it back to a fixed single week (although I can't imagine why anyone would want to).

Sheri mentioned on another board that BG was only using the 'red' week when it 'buys back' the ownerships from the HOA.
It would be less MF for a single week ownership and only the red week would convert to points. (as per 'blended' ownerships)

Right, but it converts back to the underlying deeded week. Since they were deeded weeks 1-17, not many underlying weeks would be red (only about 1/3). I would think they are paying the full MF on most if not all of the UDI weeks they have, and only using the red week.

Yes, unfortunately it's for a friend and not me.

I did find it interesting that there were a Royal Palms and Grand Vista 2 bedroom for the same week, but it couldn't see them (my 1 bedroom Sheraton could though).

Resort Closings, Inc is not moving quickly for me...paid and signed 7 days ago and still only the notification/ documentation that I paid on their website.
No mention that my deed has been sent to be recorded.

                                Will email tomorrow.
