That was what we were jokingly calling the BG exchange department reps.

When you call BG to reserve your UDI, you speak to an actual, helpful, BG rep, same as always.
BUT if you want to deposit a unit in II, RCI, TPI, DAE, SFX or any other exchange company, it is done by the "new" Bluegreen Exchange Deptartment.....and you are NOT allowed to speak to them...hence Chris' term of "Secret Agents".

Bluegreen has also stopped giving you the unit number of your reservation....kinda aggravating.

I'm here at CMV now. The Timbers unit is not fancy, but is very comfy. The remodel is nice, and they are installing the same tile and carpet in the registration building. I have a few maintenance issues, but nothing major. It's the first timeshare unit I've stayed in that has no pot large enough to cook any kind of pasta - only a couple of saucepans. There is now a king bed in the master, and a queen in the second bedroom- no more twin beds.

I also found out that tubing is not included with the timbers ownership, only ski lift tickets and greens fees.

I did confirm that there should have been a couple of large pots, which they are going to bring. It looks like they must still be finishing the refurb on a couple units, as there is a large dumpster at the one next to us, and a lot of workmen. The Timbers units seem to be pretty fully occupied, but there is virtually no one at the cottages.

Your kids will just have to learn how to ski/snowboard.

They already want to do that - tubing is just less expensive.

I planned to grill some smoked sausage for dinner last night, and make Mac n cheese. The grill didn't work and no large pot, so my daughter and I ended up going to Mulligan's.

As this is a "drive to" location for you, you will just have to have a timeshare box that comes with you each trip...this way you have what you want and need.

I do have a rubbermaid tote just for that, I've just never been in a unit that didn't have a large pot.

On the plus side, on Saturday I made another 45 day reservation to deposit to RCI, and it showed up in my RCI account this afternoon. Knock on wood, it seems that is all straightened out. That means in the six weeks I've had it I've been able to deposit one week to II, two weeks to RCI, and reserve two weeks for personal use. I can make my next reservation on December 14th.

I paid for this 10/15. In my account 11/5 - 3 weeks.

So I just called to make some reservations for deposit - and I was told I would have to prepay the maint fee due 6/1/14 to make ANY reservations for deposit for ANY date in 2014….I thought I could make resies up until 6/1 and deposit as those fees have been paid???

I deposited a 1/4/14 and a 1/11/14 check in without prepaying any maintenance fees. I would just call back and get a different rep.

That is what I thought….I believe Chris did also. The rep I had checked with a supervisor :roll eyes: and came back and said "calendar year" not fiscal year.

I don't read this thread but saw your name pop up so had a look. I am glad that you feel up to posting again and that Judy's hip operation is done already so you are both on the mend. We wish you a better 2014 and you can travel again.

I just got finished posting 2 Laguna Surf ads for 2014. Feb 7-14 and Oct 17-24. She called tonight and seems to be doing well and seems to be in fine spirits. It appears that she is doing well. Bruce
