Thanks everyone - I posted this Wednesday evening about my inability to deposit - as it turns out as per Sheri (HOA) and the "Secret Agent" department as well.

When I got home this evening (Friday) after being away from early Thursday…. I had a call on my answering machine (Thursday 9:30am) from "Secret Agent" Barbara from the Exchange Dept stating that she saw on my account that I was told by the vacation rep that I could not deposit and that in fact this was incorrect, I could deposit my week 20 without paying the fees and that I could call her back and she would take care of it (before 4PM) or else call a regular rep and reference my resie #

So yes, the Secret Agents do know what they are talking about…..

Thank you. Interesting day today. Judys home and is a bit but seems to be doing well. I have improved my walking durance a bit the past week. Our Tenant above heat sensor pooped out but our furnace guy took care of it after tenant tried. I would try but I am even a worse with electric than typing.
Had calls today and a few email the past few days about rentals. Some were from repeat customers.

Got all of my CMV Thanks giving rental posts and December rental posts and our Door county posts updated. in the next several day I hope to update our other ones. Also did our 2 Laguna surfs for 2914 in Feb and Oct posted on VTR,

Well this was "straightened" out two months ago. NOT!
Hopefully they will add this little trivia about CMV UDI's to the training of their reservationists and supervisors.
Apparently not too many people know what a UDI is at BG.
I know the sales departments at the "updates" were completely clueless.

Chris, in BG defense, it really is an ownership outside the vacation club model that 99.95% percent of their members own. But I agree they should be better trained or at least have a notation with the right information. More employees then Secret
Agents should know the correct procedure.

Oh I know but at least train your supervisors.
They speak authoritatively yet are wrong so you lose out on opportunities to reserve which defeats the purpose of this ownership.

LOL, true! I just got off the phone and they did in fact deposit my week - it has just not been verified with II - did you have to add CMV to your II account (paying a fee?)

Yes you do but you can do it by extending your membership by a year too and then they do it for "free".

I am hoping because I already have BGVC as a resort group in my account, they will just put it into that ownership….will let you know.

That's what I did too - extended a year and added the CMV at the same time.

                          • So I just called Trading Places and no sign of my Oct 25th deposit!!
Then I called BG and they were like "uh oh", let me speak to my supervisor on this.

Well come to find out that they didn't make the deposit after all.
Really? I can't do it myself and you can't seem to do it either?

So the guy was very nice and all and apologetic saying that he would call
the exchange department for me. He gives me a tracking # and says that
I should call back on Wednesday and the latest would be Monday because of the
holiday. Ugggh. So now my 90 day deposit is not a 90 day deposit anymore
cause the check in was for January so I might have to do the whole thing over
again. He was saying that if they (BG or TPI) made a mistake that they would
make it right. I'm not sure what he was seeing but apparently they realize
they dropped the ball and he even said that he was sure TPI would work with
them not to lose an exchange customer.
So I will update when I see this resolved one way or another.

                            • I am also joining the CMV UDI family and looking forward to it. Seems like a great ownership... I already have RCI points and weeks, but I'm interested in trading with II for the inventory I can't currently get. I assume I can just set up an II account and affiliate the CMV ownership to both? Or can you only associate it and make deposits to one? It looked like Scooter5 has already got it working for him big time... now I just have to find a Timbers unit (picking up a cottage from the HOA).

You can deposit with most any exchange company. I've deposited to both II and RCI so far.

The Timbers is going to be a more difficult find than the cottage - there just are not many of them that exist. There would have originally only been a maximum of 289, and I believe I've read they stopped selling them before they even got to 200. Who knows how many of those BG has managed to get back.
