Or can you only associate it and make deposits to one? It looked like Scooter5 has already got it working for him big time... now I just have to find a Timbers unit (picking up a cottage from the HOA).
Hi Bigrob, Welcome to the forum.

You can have both RCI & II accounts but will pay for them yourself.
Hopefully they don't change that but for now yes.
I'm not sure about the blended UDI's though since the points trading
may need to go thru the BG portal.

The alternates also take these units.
I exchanged with Platinum Interchange already with one unit and
am giving another unit to Trading Places International.
It's free to join them and their exchange fees are cheaper so if
they have resorts that you like you may want to consider them.
DAElive is also free to join. You only pay when you exchange.
SFX will pick and choose depending on your level of commitment
    to them.

Thanks - I'll have to take a look at the others to see what inventory is there. I was mostly interested in II for Marriott. I know you can't rent exchange weeks from RCI and II, but what about some of the other exchange companies?

You can buy "guest" certificates for anybody you choose.

II does well with Marriott in the off season. Peak season will require the Marriott preference for the good stuff.
But if you like off season then you will be pleased with Marriott in II. I've done 5 exchanges this year alone to Marriotts and all
in 2 and 3 bedrooms. All done online without ongoing searches.

Yes, it was a stroke of extremely good luck that the large reseller didn't know what he had and really just put a basic description in. I got it for virtually nothing....

                  Sydney,
I am mostly interested for II trades as these are 2BR units. The basic ownership gives you 1 red, 2 white/blue and 1 45 day out Resie.
Maint fee is $995 plus each Resie requires $65 housekeeping fee.
So for $1255 I get 4 2BR traders @ $315ish per week. This is the "basic" ownership, anything else is gravy. The 45 day out Resie would be "flex-change" rules with II, trades only 60 days ahead, but averaged out it would be less then the cost of an AC.

If you read the thread above, you will see there are ways to really maximize this ownership and reserve many weeks per year.
I will be getting rid of my Wyndham ownership and replacing with this and possibly one or two others.

                  I am a Happy Camper
Pat, thanks for your help. The Timbers trades better with II than the Cottages.( it also rents better. A big advantage of a UDI over most point program is you can exchange with almost all exchanges companies unlike most points programs.

You do not have to keep track of anniversary dates like you do with Bluegreen Points. The UDIs are very simple, when the check in date arrives you can book after same type color reservation but the 45 dayers can be red white or blue.

If you cancel a UDI reservation 3 or more nights there is no $25 fee. Within 3 nights there is a $25 fee. With Bluegreen points you have cancel 10 nights before check in, other wise you will lose all of those points.

They have skiing, golf, indoor water parks and stuff for the whole family year round.
It's not like Disney or anything but a drive to destination for a few days in a natural setting.

This doesn't have world appeal, it's a very local sort of place.
And it's a very flexible ownership because you can deposit it everywhere
to exchange and since it has 2 bedrooms it seems to do quite well everywhere.
We got hit with a 3K special assessment when BG took over but it looks like
they are improving the place tremendously which will hopefully improve
                      the trading power as well.

So getting a unit with the SA already paid is a great deal.
I'm still paying the SA. $2K to go but I've made about 20 reservations since
I bought it so I feel okay about it.
I hope it doesn't become like the South African units.
It's definitely not for everyone though.
You really need to travel alot to get your moneys worth out of this.
We live about 145 miles from CMV and have taken advantage of the UDI Oak Timbers free golf. But we do not ski but a family of 4 can save over $600 to a bit under $1,000 for a full week free lift privileges. ( Renters do not get these)

Also unlike a lot of time shares you have no units above or below your unit. So you do not have noise of kids running around at all hours of the day and night.

Yes, I confirmed it with the pro shop when I was there a couple weeks ago. It does not include the tubing hill for some reason (which I find unusual since it's really nothing more than the lift and an innertube), but lift tickets and greens fees.

Sydney, all of my CMV for ads are now out of date and over priced because of several factors. I did not want to post any of the many rumors in my ads. Please note because of rumors I deleted the free golf and ski lift from my ads because of rumors.

After posting very little on the forums and updating ads the previous 4 to 5 months because of my health problems I am now catching Up on not only CMV but our other 10 or so ownership for sale and rentals.

I will hopefully will be catch up on or before Dec 9, 2014.

I did call Bluegreen who said there was no availability for 12/20&21, 12/27&28

Where do I find the cmv color designation of the weeks?
Pat, what is interesting that the Dec 20 check in is for some reason this year a white week instead of a red week like it always have been. I have 4 Dec 20 check ins reserved and 3 Dec 26 to Jan 2 reserved so people do not have to check out at 10AM on Jan 1 with a thick head or miss a bowl game.

Scott, the tubing hill was added many years after so BG did not make it free.

Sydney, unfortunately you did not read the first line of that out of date ad. That ad states " Sorry, this type of ownership is no longer for sale at this time. We do have 2 other types of UDT's for sale. Call Bruce direct to have him explain." I lost your phone number as I wanted to give you a call as I can better explain over the phone instead of emails or ads.

The Christmas Mountain material below will be undated one week or sooner after the Christmas Mountain April 14, 2012 Home Owners association meetings in regards to what the new rates for the Maintenace fees and houekeeping fees will be.
