  • After Renovations, Will Christmas Mountain become "Silver" with II?

    "Silver" Select Resort

    Interval International Select Resort®
Select Resorts provide a great vacation experience with a comfortable and home-like atmosphere, offering hospitality, welcome, friendliness, and warmth.

    "Gold" Premier Resort

    Interval International Premier Resort®
Premier Resorts provide an outstanding vacation experience, with state-of-the-art conveniences, and modern features and appointments.

In my experience, having the Silver designation greatly increased trade value in II. Many more Marriott's in almost prime season and more size equal exchanges.
Is this the plan to go for this designation with II ?

In RCI, there are two resort codes - The Timbers are already "Silver" while CMV is standard.
II only has one resort code for all units.

    What do you think?

    I don't think it's something automatic.
If the resort doesn't pursue it it may not happen.
Maybe we can see if the HOA can pursue this for us since they have a vested interest.

I know from experience owning a standard resort that went thru a top to bottom
renovation with the high end stuff and was in a good location, that for some reason
it never happened and it's still a standard resort in both II and RCI.
Needless to say, it's gone from my portfolio.
