Will anyone else be up at Christmas Mountain Village for the upcoming Memioral Day week?

We have a Friday May 23, 2008 Check in date for a 3 bedroom Villa unit number 13.

We may only stay 3 or 4 days because other possible upcoming committments.

Bruce, since lately we seem to be there more in the off season, is there anything that is still open in Oct/Nov that is a must see?

I think with the airline prices, we may try to get back there for the summer stuff. I grew up in west central Minnesota. Wis. Dells was a trip we would do every couple years. I know we camped, but can't remember where. I have some fond memories of that area going back 40 plus years. Yup, we need to go back next summer.

Don, the Dells IMHO with all of the year round activities has become a year round vacation spot.

I first went up to the Dells about 60 years ago. The changes in the last 20 years are many.

The slower times of the year are from when the fall colors quite in about late October to Christmas or earlier if there is a early snow and after February (except for spring breaks) until early May.

Summer exchanges into the Dells are not the easiest to obtain.

As a example for this upcoming weekend they have the Dells Automation Custom Car show with over 900 custom cars. If interested I have a couple of May 17, check ins for the full week at CMV available for under $200.

It is a coupon book we have used for years that has a lot of 2 for 1 coupons.

These would be 2 sites to bookmark if you are thinking of going to the Dells at some point in time.

They have for Noah’s Ark the only 2 for 1 coupons that are only good for June. The other discount coupons for Noah’s Ark for the rest of the summer are only $3 off per person.

I hope to bump into some of the members of this site at the Dells or at other timeshares.

Other good savings are from the Wisconsin Dells Fun Card or the Wisconsin Dells Party Card. They are $10 each . The Fun Card has 18 two for one restaurants and several 2 for 1 attractions. The Party Card has 36 2 for one drinks at all kinds of locations, including the House of Embers, Pedro's and Monks.
I just ordered the Entertainmnt book because it is $10. I ordered it through Cashbaq and supposedly will get a $10 rebate. I don't think it will be exceptionally good for the Dells though, but I am sure I'll get my money back in no time.
It seems quiet here right now, but there can be 15,000 in town and you won't even notice , it is so spread out.

At Christmas Mountain they have a new cable system and it is very nice. Lots more stations and much better quality.

Are you in the Dells area? Visitor or resident?

New cable and new channels, nice, looking forward to sitting on my butt by the fire in Oct. That is when we are not looking for scrapbooking stores...again.
