  • Circus World/Wisconsin Dells

The colors are changing and it is beautiful. this is the time to be here and to see Devil's Lake State Park and the Baraboo Hills.

Vandals attempted to burn down the barn which housed the historic restored circus wagons at Circus World Museum, but firemen were able to put it out. The vandals also sprayed swasticas on the building.
We went on a tour of the wagons in August. It was very interesting. One fact was really surprising, of the 5 richest men in America during the 1880's, 5 lived in Baraboo. They were the 5 Ringling Brothers. All those 25 cent admissions added up.

During the floods that drained Lake Delton, the Baraboo River also flooded and Circus World Museum is on both sides of the river. They had to close two buildings because of flood damage.

Also, Parfrey's Glen has been closed because flood waters took out the wood walkway to the glen. Maybe next year.

I don't think they were Jewish, but I am not sure. I doubt that the morons who did it even know who the Ringlings are.
