  • Site not loading from tablet

I'm still having a little trouble getting use to the new format on my computer but I can't get the site to load at all on my tablet. From www.timeshareforums.com I get a blank white screen.

I have a toshiba thrive and it may be that I need to adjust my settings. I never had any problem with the old site. If I go to the registration page and then log on it comes up. After playing with it a bit it seems that I just have to let it remember the password and then it will load the site. I guess no more anonymous browsing from my tab.

Could not Reply from the Android Fire

Although the site renders on the screen, and I could navigate the site, I was not able to edit and reply on the screen prompt. The virtual touchscreen keyboard did not display.

            I could not respond.

I see the same issue on the iPhone and iPod. I may just make a mobile device style and set the board to detect mobile devices.

                  FYI

I have no problems on my Verizon Samsung Nexus Galaxy. Runs Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich.

I am thinking of using ICS my son is going to add a duel boot to both our Touchpads. How do you like ICS does it work on all sites?

ICS is really slick. Totally enjoy the experience. I was looking at tapatalk, or forumrunner yesterday since Ken tweeked the site. But I am holding off for now. The Samsung Nexus Galaxy is a great device as well.

It works on all sites I have visited so far.

OK, can everybody give their favorite smart phone, tablet, etc a try again? I recoded the site so that it should recognize a mobile device and work like it did before.

I do think Tapatalk or Forum Runner is VERY MUCH SO worth the $2.99 as they will work much better then the mobile phone style BUT the site should be able to detect phones again and use the lite style. This will also get rid of the white screen issue.

I'll have to work on that mobile style to remove the vbulletin stuff too but hey working is better then nothing!

Did anybody else verify the site works better on things other then a PC or Tapatalk & Forum runner?
