I'm not getting emails re subscribed threads...

Does email notification still not work? My user cp shows the threads as subscribed with instant email notification but I never get an email.

I have not had the time to look at it... there have been two upgrades ti the forum software to fix bugs and it is possible one of those fixed this. My problem is that these upgrades take way too much time because of the complexity of this website....

I'll try to look into this but it may not be an easy fix...

I just subscribed to a thread to test it. Ken, if it's any help, I notice that the default is set to 'no email notification,' but I changed it again so we'll what happens.

ok I got an email notification... Pat, check the setting when you 'subscribe to thread' and make sure you change it to instant notification by email...

They all say "instant" notification. I checked all the threads and rechecked the instant notification so we'll see if that works.

I just looking in your account and it seems like you got it right. Did you check your spam folder?

Someone, please post a trouble ticket with a link to this thread... I will not be doing any coding until January but at that point I will try to address some of these issues.

I am also considering another site upgrade and if I do that I may abandon the TS4MS points system. I am struggling to decide if they have been helpful or not but that system causes a lot of extra work for me with each upgrade.

I will not have time for anything for another month however so until then there will be no changes.

Does anyone know if the subscribed feature is working, I just received an email from a member saying it is not. I am not sure if this was fixed with the upgrade or not.
