    Ken,

Perhaps it's because many people haven't posted here but when I had unread posts they would be BOLD. After I read them and refreshed the site, they would no longer be bolded.

Now I see all posts as "unbolded" (if that is a word).

It is working for me... what browser are you using and let me know if this continues to be a problem and I will report it to the software developer...

When I click on the "New Posts" button, all of the threads titles are unbolded. When I click on the "Home" button, there are some bolded, some are not.

I am using Internet Explorer 6.something.

Also, when I used to go to any forum, a box with my avatar and information about new posts and pm's would be on the right side of the screen as well as other "boxes" about polls etc were there also. Now those boxes not there on most forums/topics I choose. They do appear when I click on "Home."

If I access the boards using www.ts4ms.com I get a display similar to the old software i.e. most recent posts, with any I haven't already views in bold.
If I access the boards using www.ts4ms.com/forums I see the little notice boards against each forum as expected. Although the notice boards for some forums indicate unread topics, when I go into the board the topics are not in bold.
        Does that explanation make sense?

Has this issue been fixed yet? It's been a while since I last saw a BOLD unread post. Everytime I come to this site I can't tell what I've read and what I haven't read because all the posts, no matter what forum, are unbold. Thanks.

I really have not trouble shot this a whole lot but I will try to look at this more when I get time.

                  Ken,

The bolding does not work on the "New Posts" forum. Here's a link:

Well, if it is "New" then if they are there they would not need to be bold?

I have been using the "Home" link and it does show the new posts bolded...

I see that the forum display of posts is not bolding and that the post icons are not accurate so I tried turning off the stuff on the right to see if that helps...

I need more time to trouble shoot this...

I also do not see new posts in bold.

I'm using Firefox 1.5.0.6. The link I use to access the site is http://www.timeshareforums.com/forum....php?do=getnew

The threads that show are new since my last visit. But they are not bold.

There also have been several times when the site has told me there aren't any new threads since my last visit, but if click the link for threads in the last 24 hours, there are new threads that weren't listed. But that situation doesn't repeat - so that might just be the product of a half-baked cookie.

The problem was because of the TS4MS points system... It is designed to allow members to pay points to make their threads Bold, Colored, Underlined, etc... That code seems to trump the forum code...

So, we just will not allow members to ever use those features or at least not until I can fix the code that does this...

Yep - and I think my cookie is also fully baked.
