I also find "TS4MS" a bit confusing. It's a combination of abbreviation (TS) and a phonetic acronym. Actually "4MS" could be interpreted as "forms" instead of "forums".

I voted for #2 (but without the TS4MS if possible).

Phoenetically, the letter M is em, so it is four+ems.

Love the logo choice. Now what can we buy?

I was thinking of Roman columns when I was trying to design a logo. Too many years of high school Latin, I guess.

Or... if you are a tinsmith it could be....

        TS (TinShare) 4MS (Forums)

It is just a name like using TUG instead of Timeshare Uses Group" as it is easier to post TS4MS instead of TimeshareForums...

We are just lucky as we do own TS4MS.com so we have good reason to work to brand TS4MS.

I think its should emphasize timeshareforums.com

Then maybe a little slogan.. so people get an idea what we're about
"The Ultimate online vacation source" or resource?
          or something like that..

I could see myself handing out business cards, but I doubt until I'm older and no longer feel the need to look "cool" . I doubt I'd wear a shirt or hat with that logo. Unless we could give it a surfer or skate boarding look to it.

I am horrible at artsy type stuff, but if I could design a logo I'd possibly wear. I think a background of a beach, wave and palm tree.. similar to Quicksilver or Ocean Pacific brands and some of the t-shirts they put out. I would do it as a drawing, not as a real picture. I think its vacation related and something some of us in a younger generation might wear.
Have the sun.. a big wave crashing over "timeshareforums" and some sand and palm tree..

          anyway.. I voted for #2
Maybe we should listen to Dave and some of the others, including the professional person here and remove the TS4MS. Dave seems to like a drawing that gives more of a feeling of being on vacation rather than being on the move as with the globe or suitcase. A slogan could always be added later on the business card or on a T-shirt too as the logo would become too busy.

Did you know that you can buy software with thousands of pictures or drawings in it? I have Explosion 125,000 for the Mac that I never even opened up because I forgot I had it but I remembered it now and found it. There are newer versions out and also for the PC. A program like that gives you the right to use any picture as they are not copyrighted, as far as I know. You may find a picture there. You can also find them on the Internet if you look long enough. Is it legal to make a logo of one of those?

This is becoming a much more difficult challenge as there are legal costs involved. I liked the logo that TStips had. It was simple and colorful too but black and white will never clash. I like the two logos we have already.

PS. I notice now that TStips had a slogan too so it can be done if it is short.

Definately like the Globe. It is easy on the eyes and seems to flow better.

Both are technically globes so folks need to find words to differentiate them when referring to them.

As for my vote, I'll tell you why I prefer #2. It shows that the site TS4Ms covers the world, with the name on a banner wrapped around the world. I also tend to prefer logos with a concentrical appearance. Btw, you can now buy postage stamps with your own logos on them, and #2 would look great on a postage stamp (as well as teeshirts, mugs, etc.)

I do like the other logo, btw, and I'd buy items regardless of which logo "wins".

Is there a deadline on this vote?

It looks like it is #2 is more than a 2 to 1 winner...

                Just curious...

Actually I have just been too busy getting the classifieds done and now I am trying to build the TS4MS Points system. I agree that it is very clear that we have a majority vote...

I need to find someone that can redraw both logos to a vector based graphic format so we can get them to supply them back to us in a variety of formats that we will be able to use....

We also need to get Pete his letter and check... I hope to get the letter done and e-mailed so that you can sign it and return it. Then I will find and hire a skilled Graphic artist to get this into a multiuse format and we will be good to go.

From there, I need to contact the company that will be making the merchandise to get them my federal EIN information so that we can start getting stuff.

Just too few hours in my life sometimes... I promised my wife I wouldn't spend the entire day on the computer and I have don't OK at keeping off...

It would be nice to have shirts and hats available for summer vacations.

                          Logo1

I could not see Logo1. Has it been removed, and that means Logo 2 won?

                          Thanks!
