I appreciate totally the monumental work that goes into making this site.
so please don't take this the wrong way.
But here's my comment/suggestion:
Personally, I find it annoying to wade through the new posts and find TS topics intermixed with frivolous stuff I have no interest in. It's like sorting through junk mail at home to find the mail you need and want to see.
I'm also sending many new members here from my culling of Grand Summit owner lists. I have gotten some feedback from them that they are put off by the mix of useful timesharing information with non-timeshare topics. It seems to demean the value of the TS information which is very valuable. Sorry to say, but sometimes there are threads that are just plain stupid. If members want to converse about that stuff, I say go for it...but just not in the same part of the site as the serious topics.
Is there an easy way to split the home page screen ? Can the non-TS threads be put off to the side but still accessible to those who want them?
I feel that if people come to the site for TS information and open up the home page to something frivolous, it's a turn off to the entire site.
