  • What are the site restrictions for guests and newly registered users for TS4Ms?

What are the site restrictions for guests and newly registered users for TS4Ms? I have put links on other sites to certain pages but I don't want to completely frustrate someone who has to jump through too many hoops to get the information I am providing.

Is there a restriction to get into the Links forum?

Is there a restriction to get into the sightings forum?

If there are restrictions is this the wise thing to do?

Sightings and political forums need to be a posting member with 15 posts. They can also get right in by becoming a site contributer.

I just tried to use my link as a guest to get into the Links forum.....it is denied as not having permission to use it...why?

Also the links forum is not listed in the community forums when one logs in as a guest.....yet it is when a registered user pulls up the forums list.

I am afraid I may be upsetting people who cannot get into the links I provide to information on this web site....that is not a good thing.

As far as I know All members should have Access to the links forum.

          Ken you out there.

If Ken does not respond by today I will have a look but I am sure he will. I rather he does this change even though I can. BTW as far as I know it was always a public forum, Not sure how or when this changed. It might be a good idea to check the other forums as well.

That is correct... The links forum is a designated SPAM zone BUT spammers do not get rewareded for their behavior as search engines and guests can not see that forum...

This is important for the well being and growth of our own Search Engine Rankings...

Important links will be going into a new directory system as soom as we get the resorts database and new reviews system done...
